ADJUNCT FLEX OBLIGATION

Fall 2015 designated days:
                               Tuesday & Friday
Spring 2016 designated days:
                               Thursday & Friday

Your obligation is the total number of hours you teach full-semester classes on the days of the week on which the Mandatory PDA Institutional day and PDA Flex day occur each semester. The 2015/16 academic calendar shows those days to be Tuesday and Friday for Fall 2015 and Thursday and Friday for Spring 2016. Co-taught classes will generate pro-rated flex hour obligations. Because your compensation includes payment for these hours as calculated by Payroll, you have an obligation under California Education Code to perform professional development activities, file a Notice of Absence form, or have your pay docked.
