AFA Contract & Negotiations

According to our most recent member survey, most faculty do not wish to have a hard copy of the Contract. For this reason, we have posted the Contract on our website.

Using the links in the gold navigation bar above, you can access the Contract Articles, Appendices, Addenda, and other documents, or use the find box to the left on this page just above "Hot Topics." AFA and the District anticipate that most needs can be met by accessing the Contract on the website. However, if, at any time, you have any questions about the terms and conditions of your employment, or need help interpreting the Contract, please contact us by phone at 707/527-4731, or by email at afa@santarosa.edu, or come by the AFA office. If you believe that provisions of the Contract are not being followed, please contact the AFA Conciliation/Grievance Officer. AFA's Conciliation/Grievance Officer can help you resolve problems in your working situations and can file a formal grievance when you feel specific provisions of the Contract have been violated.
